Does the guy have a background at all???? Most child abductors have a history & are well known by the police, this guy has a 4yr old daughter of his own........not looking like one. S'pose they all have to start somewhere though!!
Interested why there draining the pool at his villa though...anyone know why they would do that??

TBH I guess the police would have more evidence before they start searching his out, etc!
But I do agree that it gets to a certain stage and with the public/media pressure they are sometimes forced into acting too quick to try and show things are moving forward and often leads to plenty of false hope.

guess to look for evidence (filters, small stuff that could be at bottom, etc.)

The police might want to make a fuss as well while there's not much else going on.
If the son is with police, and the mother is still at the house that does beg the question of where the child is.

maybe they drain the pool, filter the water then scour the surfaces looking for hairs?

Thats what I was saying before. IF he is the guy then I seriously wonder if she is alive, as she isnt at the house obviously and if he has been working closely with the media/family/police then he hasnt been away somewhere looking after her!

I refuse to believe she's been held 150m from the apartment she was taken from then the guy hung about...........just doesnt sound right!!
Then again looking at the soham murders, Ian Huntley was living on site of the school they attended & was seen on TV helping with enquirys etc..............chilling to think what does go on!!!!

A lot of murders stay close to the scene/victims familes, gives them the inside track, provides cover for them and sometimes just allows them to gloat!

Under their laws the person being questioned can name themselves formal suspects in order to remain silent and have the use of a lawyer, so even though you'll get the sensationalist headlines it could have been his own doing.
