check out the classifieds as the exhaust is now up for sale
Just fold out that the engine is f**k . Not impressed at all as it seems that something has fallen into the engine and done the damage. I'm now on the hunt for a X16XE to replace mine and then i can transfer the inlet etc over

Update: the car is back on the road with a new engine . When the engine was being fitted i've also found out that the front calipers have been fitted to the wrong sides . The blend nipples are at the bottom instead of at the top, so they need to come off soon and be swapped over.
So here are some pictures of the new exhaust that has been fitted
Lexmaul 4-2-1 Manifold
Japspeed De-Cat
Sportex 3" Outward Rolled System
And then fitted to the car
Thanks to pdwhelan i how have a set of black door cards
Also fitted some chrome door catches
I'm trying to sort the interior out at the minute. I still need to fit the buckets, gear surround, Momo steering wheel, pedals and then the ICE

i've not posted in here in a bit i've not really done a great deal on the car of late. I won a post 97 bumper on ebay for £5 clicky just needs striping down and spraying up then it can go on the car. I also need to do the same with the rear bumper and fit the arches. I'm going to spray the side skirts in black to keep with the color theme.
Anyway here are some things that i've done to the car. I did some work on the inside of the car by fitting alu stalks, steering wheel and buckets.
I also got a 3.5" powerflow cat back exhaust off daz 16v
I had to drop the rear beam down to fit the exhaust as it was all in one piece, so i took some pictures of the car without the rear springs
I did a little work on the engine bay. I fitted a omp strut brace and a drilled air box with a pipercross filter next up it to fit some pipercross rad pipes that i have.
I changed the front number plate for a new one and the rear number plate light.
I started the work on my sound system by putting the subs in the boot.
some bits of the system i fitted.
that's about it for what i've done so far. I've still got some things to do on the car, but it's getting there I'm getting some double front door pods made up in the next couple of weeks, so these i'll have a nice sound in the front . These are the speakers and amp that are left to be fitted.
and i'm waiting on a new rear badge to turn up clicky
anyway i hope you all live the progress

I haven't really posted in this thread for a bit, so time for an update . First off i got some chrome heater dials, which cost next to nothing
Also i had some custom front door pods made up by dp audio, which house 6.5" and 5.25" mids and a tweeter.
With the tip on the powerflow exhaust rattling and i wanted a new look, so i got a 3" twin Ashley cat-back system. It's my loud, but it has a nice sound when you top your foot down.
I also decided to paint the rear drums black as they were a bit rusty
I'm going to change the front 2ltr brakes for even bigger ones I'm going for v6 288mm beasts. I've got the discs & pads, now i just need the calipers and i can then get them on next week
I've ordered some 90mm rear springs off dave A from the group buy, so i'm hoping to get them next week. I should also be getting my front & rear bumpers, side skirts and arches back from the bodyshop by the end of the week. This is the look i'm going for (by the big dint :lol
so all i need to get now is the brake calipers and some Vauxhall/Opel rear mud flaps to go on the new bumper

I've now fitted the v6 front brakes and a Powertec SL1X filter. I dropped the vectra discs as i couldn't be bothered getting them re-drillled. I think they look good behind the softstars
I also got some qued led sidelight bulbs off superlite. I'll get a picture of them working some time
And i got the 90mm rear spring from dave a's group buy
Thanks to flybikeslee i have his old chrome style inlet
I've got the body parts back from the bodyshop today which include: Front & Rear bumpers, arches (all four) and steinmetz style sideskirts. They have been fully colour coded apart from the splitter and grill on the front bumper. I'll get some picture tomorrow.
There are just a couple of things on order/want at the minute then i'm done
Dbilas cams & Dbillis adjustable pulleys (on order)
Irmscher Pedals (on order)
Plasma Dials (on order)
De-locked Door Handles (on order)
Sebring Centre Pipe (on order)
HID Kit 4300k (on order)
Powder Coat Rocker Cover (purple) & Oil Cap (Black)
Cold Air Feed
What do you guys think?
