If i had a corsa b i'd slam it untill the splitter scraped on drive and nearly every speed bump.

urm some times i ag mechanical cleaner then just wipe everything down with a rag and a sponge the rinse off and i used on plastics a chea silicone spray from poundland and just polish the painted bits

Well you can go lower , just use different springs . I changed my FK springs straight away as i wanted it lower . I ran 80mm nova rear springs for a while .
