Twin turbo'd Capri

can just about see a turbo:


It made a racket leaving! Was bloody awesome

another Capri packing a charger





Only got a few photos, should have really got more but was too busy watching them drag off leaving and dribbling over some minters

*****UPDATE*****

Well this morning I spent a couple of hours on the car.

First off was to sort my TPS and ICV as the throttle position sensor had a dogey connection and the idle control valve was making it run funny on first start up.

So one car jacked up!


Strut brace off for easier access!


Getting up the back to get the ICV was a bit of a bitch but got there in the end


So whilst I had it in the air I thought I might as well paint the drums as you do...

and then checked the engine worked after my adjustments and decided to be a bit gangster and get a video!

Drums look much better than rust

Yeah have taken the system back apart and had it rewelded when we undersealed it so it doesn't blow down the front now

Good work Daz so did that cure it then ? What did you have to adjust Daz ?

Cheers Kyle! Yeah runs much better now, really didn't like idling last night so had a fiddle today and found the connections on the TPS bent so straightened them back out so they connected better and cleaned out the ICV with carb cleaner which appears to have made it run better than it was before as well

Nice one Daz for getting it sorted,you said you'd do it,clever sod.

Drums make such a difference and exhaust sounds better with it all tightened up etc.
