Had this moel sitting around unpainted, so

and on Cup 1 Wheels

removed all the surface rust and painted the wing mounting points.
Fitted new spire clips £96.64 plus vat from porsche ) and added the sealing strip

Repaired all the rust on the wings them selves, had to cut out some metal and replace it, also welded over the side repeater holes.
Then gave the inside a coat of stone chip and painted them.

Then refiited the wings, i still need to fit the bonnet so i can do the final alignment.

How come you refitted the wings? Would of thought it would be better to paint them off the car then refit?

Nope they are sealed to the car then painted.
Most cars are painted with the wings fitted so the bolts are painted and sealed to the panel.
I havent painted the top of the front panel yet as that will get done when I paint the wings.
