I don't hate the clio at all.
Women at work has a bright green one sitting outside on dark alloys and it looks the absolute dogs dangles.
Mags like them.
Its just the Corsa will be faster on the road with a remap.
But £17k on a Clio is laughable
Look for an S5 Jamob. Far more grown up, comfy, faster, and more pimpy!

There's an Abarth in Ingolstadt with a fettled exhaust, has one of those "noise doesn't fit to what you're seeing" effects. Awesome though.
Clio looks a bit less cutesy than it with its snub nose and googley eyes. I'd go for the Fiat purely as I see less of them than the Renaults though.

Whats wrong with S5's. Total pimpness with power to get shifting quicker than any FWD teen hot hatch
I'd love one, 345bhp, 2 doors, plenty of space. Pimp.

Yep, long journeys the Astra is much better than the Corsa MPG wise.

couldn't believe it
Although the VXR is very different to drive, (revs) the BMW feels faster in the real world and gets over 50 mpg
If I drove the VXR the same I would struggle to get 20's I reckon

I rember the first time we went to the ring Ollie spent all his time at the petrol pump in the Corsa. However in the Burg he seems to be doing a lot better

1 tank of fuel from Nurburgring to Calais, 300 miles.
With the stage 2 map it's even better.
Corsa used loads of fuel, not sure why.

Our standard is averaging 27mpg, but gets used for work.
On a motorway we've seen 300+ too.

I thnk the excitement of the first trip meant foot down all the way.
I think there was no dead weight to keep the MPG up.
