Exactly, he was going through this with me.

They could have took the car off me there and then and never gave it back, but the copper was a car enthusiast and let me get away with paying for it back after saying we are both good lads etc.

i personally think its aload of rubbish, section 59 for wheelspin, that is a joke, theres much more important matters in the world....
but i honestly think mobby that people are giving you stick because of the 'i drive a 1.8 corsa' comment, its not like its the fastest car to be driving, theres people out there with some real quick cars and im sure they can turn round in a empty car park, without even a slight wheelspin.....
but i do agree with you on how petty the police have been,
brad

I agree, its was just a joke comment though. i love thrashing it due to the noise, the lowered feel etc.

Ditto, its a fucking disgrace! They dont even need evidence, it fucking sickens me all of these knee jerk legislations just get exploited by arrogant police officers who havent got anything better to do with their lives other than to just step on peoples feet and generally be a cunt until they have got a good enough rank to weasel their way into the Masons.

I think people are just finding it very hard to believe the police would threaten to take your car away and destroy it for ONLY doing a bit of a wheelspin exiting a carpark. Especially when you have admitted to having issues contolling a car that is perfectly capable of being driven normally?

Ive spent my fair share of time sat in empty carparks in modified cars and never had any experience of these completely un-reasonable police that loads of people always seem to moan about on the internet!

its NOTHING to do with law.. Last time I looked you were "innocent until proven guilty", Section59 is just a convinient way of making you guilty "with notice".. Theres no avenue of contention, its bullshit! Who ever allowed it to pass into law needs to be castraighted and hung from a lamp post by their nostrils.

I have some simpity but they just don't take your car away unless they are a complete power freak... i was a complete idiot when i was younger and i am first to admit, but never gave anybody casue for concern to the extreme that the car was taken away...

when i got points i cooled my driving for a good few months because i knew that carrying on like i did would only lose me my license.

we are all i control of our cars and how we attract attention to them, i will always say that it best kept for the track that way you will never have any worries....

Thats no fun though, saving it for the track that is.

I'm lucky that so far only been pulled over once, and that was for 'approaching a village too fast' ie- they were in a shitty panda car and didnt have the right equipment to clock me at the time.
