I think the M3 is just better all round. Comfort but speed. And when you want to be an idiot you can throw the back end out The fake vents on the RS are a tragedy.

I can assure you that the servicing/every day running of an RS4 will be a LOT more than an RS That may fall in the "R8/997 in a couple of years" catagory.

Aye agreed, remember Stu saying brakes & pads for hi RS6 wee like £1500
Focus appeals because its new & has warranty.
In 2yrs my wage goes up a good whack maybe have something like mentioned then.
Focus RS is what I want until then.

Colin PLEASE just go put a deposit down on the RS
If you buy an M3 now, I can bet my life on it, that as soon as you see an RS on the road you'll wish you had gone for one and start this all over again!!! I don't think I could cope with the trauma of that tbh

Have you spoken with any Ford dealerships about the RS? A mate of mine was told £2k deposit now + 9 month wait.
Still go for the RS. M3 = common.

Went to look at that M3 I posted in OP & its sold!!
Had a good look around it tho as it was sitting outside & tbh you could tel it was 6yrs old, even though it only had 40k on the clocks.
I'll make a new post once the RS is ordered. 9 month wait is fine by me if thats how long it takes. I doubt it though as Saarlouis plant has the ability to put ot something like 60 RS's a day. They are ramping up production just now to catch up with current orders & the 1st ones will appear in the UK in the last week of April.
