£280 isnt bad, tbh a clutch is really labour intensive, you get what you pay for as well as long as the clutch is realigned properly its worth doing, take some spare pennies as well as they may find some splits in the CV in which case it will be worth doing that as the shafts are already off the car

just booked it in, taking it now to ensure I get it back by 2pm tomorrow.
