IF the police even manage to find the car (which would be pure guess work) they'll have no idea i'm the driver... if they grabbed and searched me i wouldn't even have the keys on my person.

Yeah, if they are dark enough.

I know several people who have had points because of these but almost every time they give you the chance to rip them off or take points.

ive had my tints since 2003, so if i do get stopped ill get offered the chance to remove or take points? thats fair enough

Not always, They CAN just hit you with 3 points if they want but most tend to tell you to get them off and fuck off.

Thats if there even dark anough to merit 3 points, They have to be silly dark to be considered dangerous and to endevour points.

Most tints just carry a £30 fine or defect notice. If caught.
