howbout conversions
theres some skill in that yes, thats about it
if you know how to run, can catch, and are a meat head you can play ruggers
if you know how to kick a ball and dive you can play football
what about dribbling past players, having to actually be accurate with kicking the ball, ball control etc, all is harder then catching and throwing a ball, and just getting in someones way when they are running

steve have you actually played rugby at a decent level
theres a lot more then standing in the way of some 1
and side stepping at full pace and keeping on your feet
try tackling an 18stone beefneck you will feel like you have hit a brick wall

now try that with a ball at your feet aswell, whilst keeping the ball at least within 12" away from your feet

you ask a rugby player to do any of that and i bet he cant, you ask a football player to hold a ball and run past people i bet he can, the only disadvantage being he doesnt have the size or meat headedness of a rugby player but thats nothing to do with skill

Jesus christ how you are trying to compare the two sports is beyond me. They are totally different from each other with hugely different levels of skill.
