everyone

So far this morning (Since 9am) when customer services opened for "Gateway" laptops, i've been on the phone to an indian, a frenchman, and some one that actually spoke french and not english

Anyway they're sending a "recovery" disc to me, and said it will wipe all my settings, then i said cant i just use a windows xp / vista disc if its just going back to original settings.

So i tried a windows disc, and nothing boots, its so odd, i havnt got a clue whats wrong with the laptop
