Kimi is flying.
Seems Hamilton had the wrong setup/pit plan once again!

I doubt very much half his "supporters" would be suporting him had he not gone into this race 14 points ahead
Maybe I got it wrong. I doubt it tho.

Button used to get just as good of support here even when he was never leading the championship. The fact he is leading it just adds to the excitement for some fans and therefore attracts a few others.

Well yes, to be honest you have got it wrong.
If Hamilton was last in the race, i'd still show my support.

same here, always been a McLaren fan
Should be getting some good tickets for them soon (not sure if this season yet) as my Dad has just bought a company that does some big big big business with SAP who sponsor them!

So if Hamilton drove for Ferrari, would you still be supporting him, you McLaren supports?
Hamilton is starting to crack, 30 seconds behind in France. Nearly took out his pit crew today and finished 50 secs off the lead (dont believe Ron in saying they turned the engine down for the next race)

Oh, and great drive from Massa, starting last (well 21st) and from the pit lane, to finish 5th.

Id still support him yeah. I support Button even though he has never raced for McLaren.
I think he was so far behind they calmed it down, no point in pushing it when he wasnt going to catch up. His tyres choice and pit timings are what fucked him.

At least Lewis is honest in press (we didnt have the pace) compared to Ron (we turned down the engine)

thats why they turned the engine down They wouldnt bother if they had the pace as he'd be competing, and they would carry on pushing it if they thought he could catch up.
