Apart from the 1.2 punto's keeping up with it til 60 That was the most annoying thing when i had my 1.6

My 1.6 was £1100 last year, and got quoted 750 this year.
XE pushes it back to 1100.

why are you fully comp on a car that isn't worth that much though? after you've paid the extra for fully comp and your excess in the event of a crash it hasn't saved you any money.
although on second thoughts, you do seem alittle accident prone, if you don't mind me saying so

I always go fully comp
but, on the XE I had some decent gear on there that I'd want replacing, and the car I have now is on loan so I wouldnt like to fuck it off and be like..gulp it aint getting repaired/whatever

true willay, but at the end of the day my car is a 1.6 sport that are 10 to the penny. i paid £1500 for it and i sure as hell wasn't paying the same money for insurance as for the car if you get me, it just didn't make sense. if i had a car that was worth more like you do it'd definately be fully comp

I was tempted to pay monthly this year as I didnt have all the money in the world like last year, but I feel better just paying it off in one lump and suffering a tad for the end of the month
