I think the chances are he didn't feel he could talk to his parents last night, as they don't like to talk to him when he's drunk.

i can see ian doing a similar thing when he finds out
last week there was a big legal thread from some members saying they were going to take legal action against the site due to some comments about muslims.
this week hes going to get reporters knocking on his door about people killing themselves on there

Maybe he needs to cut down on the drinking a bit aswell.

Dont see how hes weak myself,i felt the same when me an my ex finished,but i was to "weak" to even attempt it.
he has more guts than most actually attempting it,nd maybe the post he made was a cry for help .
so actually asking for help is not weak its a sign of bravery imo

You're not weak for 'not attempting it' ffs! Shows you were strong enough to pull through it? Don't tell me you can't see that.
yeah i often think to myself "damn that kid must have had guts to try and kill himself".... 
I'd agree about him commenting on here though, perhaps it was a cry for help yes. It takes someone strong to admit to something like that.

can't class having guts with commiting suicide... You have guts when you run into a burning building to save someone, or jump into a river to pull someone out whose drowning.. you certainly don't have guts to attempt suicide
