Yes, because the whole deal was done by Wenger, and the Arsenal board had no say what-so-ever as to if they took the £16m or asked for more!!

i wasn't disagreeing with what your saying just hard to think Henry for only £16m
and if there are arsenal fans out there who are saying henry was shit etc they aint real arsenal fans imo, the guy will always be a legend at arsenal. its true he didnt play for most of last season and we still finished 4th and to be honest if our finishing was not so appaling, we could have easily finished 3rd and perhaps even pushed for 2nd, we squandered SO SO many games with abismal finishing i.e loosing 6 points to westham
still cant right us off for next season, you nevre know, we managed the double over man u and drew home and away to chelsea. etc. it was the avergae teams we seemed to struggle with

No, I dont mean we had 3rd all tied up, we had CL qualification all tied up (i.e. top 4) so didnt put a strong side out for the last load of games.
