smokers are weak minded. Both my mum and dad smoke, my dad is 62 and sounds like darth vader alot of the time, he's literally fucked from cigs.
The negatives far outway the positives, and smokers trying to justify their reasons for smoking, other than being addicted make me laugh. My dad can "stop whenever he wants"
Your life is dictated to by a little white stick, seems quite sad to me.
Pinch a smokers cigs off them and see how mad they get, its like that little troll of lord of the rings.

maybe so, but none of the pubs near me are wetherspoons.
the biggest pub chain near me, is charles wells, and the pub they own near me, is a converted terraced house.

its as bad as banning breathing ffs.
non-smokers dont hurt the others around them via actually smoking.
breathing is a necessity to live, smoking isnt.
stupid points you make TBH

i know, but, you are probably more likely to die from some virus given to you by someone coughing or sneezing in a bar, than someone smoking near you.

Smoking ban in pubs and clubs is brilliant.
Don't wake up stinking of smoke after a night out anymore.
Why should my clothes get ruined because somebody wants to kill themselves?
And how are your clothes being ruined by smoke?
Surely you would wash them after a night out anyway....
If you don't I would be fairly confident in saying you stink
Depending on how drunk I am the clothes either get put straight in the washing or I am that drunk I want straight upto my bed in which case the clothes are lying in my room till i wake up.
This means when I wake up my room stinks of smoke as well as my clothes.
Now there is a ban up here I don't have to worry about it.
The only people who find negatives to not smoking in public places are smokers and they are normally not very good reasons.

yes but you cant ban sneezing, breathing or coughing. They are all involuntary actions.
Putting a stick of tobacco into your mouth and blowing out harmful smoke is voluntary.

How often do people die from something they have caught in a bar vs cancer from smoking.
Without knowing exact figures i's say thats another totally useless point you've made.

the only people who find positives are the people who have never smoked, and never will.

I really don't mind people smoking, it's their choice to. Most people start smoking for the wrong reasons, not that there is a right reason to start smoking.
The only issue most people would have is smoking in public places. It really is unpleasent and think most welcome the ban. I would only put my point across if I was really concerned about the health of a loved one. I would try to 'really' help.
But at the end of the day it's up to the individual to want to give up.
I have a addiction to nail biting.

But the positives are good to the whole of the world apart from the non smokers.
It kills you FACT, becuase some are lucky and get away with it doesn't change that fact.
Any argument for smoking is a waste of time tbh.

Drinking a glass of red wine is actually good for you. Raises hemogloben (sp) levels.
