bit like most Nova GSi's really although they aren't 18 years old

They aren't all expensive though. My mate paid £900 for his MK2 Golf GTi with the VR6 engine, BBS split rims (which he then sold for about £500-£600), coilovers and full Golf G60 electric (working) Recaro interior.
Bodywork is rust free. Granted needed a bit of engine work and also the drivers seat has a rip but thats going to be retrimmed. Not a bad price really.

yeah the fella that was selling it was getting married or something and his fiance was going mad at him saying he doesn't need cars so sell them and help pay for the wedding. So he had to get rid of his Golf and his G60 Corrado Corrado was going silly cheap aswell

This is how he bought it. It was for sale for £1500 but he offered him £900 then started to walk away when he said no. Then the fella gave in and said ok £900

only sold the wheels cos they were a pain to clean and he got offered the cash for them.

about 3k
I cant see how it comes to that much. I'll have to check with the guy that actually does the conversions as thats just what my mate that has the grey VR said it would cost. Surely engine are no more than £800-£900 so no way does it cost 2k+ in labour. I know its a business so he has overheads etc. but christ thats steep
