Slightly harsh, Sooters contributes a lot to Match Day and knows what hes on about. The threads where he makes the site shit as you say is when he replies in jest/knows it will make people bite! This thread was over before it began, that first post is one of the best examples of poppycock which I've read in a long time.
Banter is required to make the place funny - no.
What is this banter anyway? In-jokes with your mates? If its humour you're trying for, then lets see it, and lets all laugh.
Two types of member - no - one. Those whose residence is compatible with the aims of the site. Having a different opinion on something doesn't put you in a different group. Thats such a stupid unfounded thing to say. I'm not in a group, and I don't think I need banning, but I do object to certain aspects of certain peoples posts. Label me and I'll be off eh.
This thread will stay so long as its discussion. It may come as some surprise but you can actually have a sensible thread and people will make resonable replies, and the thread stays on topic. Some people have, during the course of this thread attempted to fuck that up, but thats OK I suppose, call it banter and it'll hide the fact that you've nothing useful to say and you would rather turn threads to shit in an attempt to be popular.
As for the more pressing issues on the site like accounts being shared, I don't have a number of complaints this week or indeed a long thread in admin forum about accounts being shared. Regardless, I'll fix that one if I need to. Separate problem. I'm not about to ignore one because I have some others.
The rule about sharing exists so I have accountability for use of the site, and its enforced in such a way that I know I always have a fair idea who has done what. I'm happy in this regard. If it were a large number of otherwise anonymous people posting harmful posts then perhaps I would be more worried than I currently am about that one.
