They basically guaranteed me that they will offer me a top top price on my GTI which will (muchos thanks to Beadles) leave me with cash spare (ie. I should owe less than the value of the car) due to the spec of mine and the suppsoed clamour for used GTI's as well as the fact that they hold their value so well

No, not until 2009/10 IIRC... has been around sicne 53 I think... the Golf is due for immediate replacement due to expensive man. processes!

the current shape golf has very inefficient manufacturing processes and is to be replaced ASAP... A3 is around until 2009/10 IIRC
