there is no way in hell schevy will join chelsea. look how many strikers they have. like he'll ever get played. and besides, its not like he wants to go. arguably the best striker in the serie a. there was talk of a swap for crespo. which sounds ok.

Right, firstly he would get played. He's miles better than all of Chelsea's front men. He does want to leave Italy though.

My unbiased opinion is that Man Utd lack a strong midfield, someone to run the show, they could do with someone like Gilberto Silva, or a Xavi who have great passing percentages, someone to provide for the forwards. If they get the right mix, they can do Chelsea, Liverpool in my eyes are a team thats' gradually improving, although they never seem to get the big money signings of like 20-30million range. Maybe that's a good thing as too many stars don't blend right, I watched Mark Gonzalez alot this year and tbh if he can get this work permit sorted, I can't see any future for Riise.

Liverpool will not have a ground to hold 70k for a LONG time

plus i think its ironic... im from newastle... and your from Manchester on a friendly note !!

We'll have atleast 30mil to spend this year. Rafa had 35mil to spend last year, but with selling players and not getting a few targets he only spent about 20mil overall, so an extra 10-15mil is easily available this year. When he says not a massive amount he means compared to Chelsea, who spend that on one player.

Decline...from winning Premiership title to finishing 2nd or 3rd in League and no MAJOR cups.

Big names...Gerrard, Carragher (2nd best central defender in Prem), Alonso (name a better midfielder you have and is just pure class), Kewell (if he decides to stick to the quality he has finished the season with)...we have plenty of big names who most other teams would want.

New ground will be 60k (unless more investment comes in), but then again, we arent the club in debt

Oh, and I only moved here last year. Was born spitting distance from Anfield originally.

Riise plays left back...more like no future for Kewell!

To be honest Id rather not sign those players worth that much. Rafa seems to have a great eye for talent and getting a good price...namely Alonso, Sissoko and Reina who have been amazing this year.

This is great, liverpool win the champions league on penalties and its the platform for a 'major trophy' argument ....

we need to amend our midfield, just like you need to amend your strike force... ill say that and we close on this

Nor are Man Utd to be fair. Glaziers debt is not Man Utds debt.

Oh, so I suppose getting to the final was just a case of us being put there. No, wait, we beat Juventus and Chelsea on the way over two legs.

You best be looking for forwards too if RVN decides to go as thats 20+ Prem goals a season gone. Plus your defence conceeded 10+ more goals that us and Chelsea last season.

SWP must be regretting leaving for Chelsea. He'll be on a nice wage but at this rate he won't get remembered. If he was still at City he'd have played at least 30 games this season and would be going to Germany. Hopefully others will see whats happened to him and steer clear of Chelski, or at least I hope so. If not........ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well look at Adriano, he declined Chelsea move because he doesn't want to play for a team who disregard good players.

hats off to him. great manager but it just takes the piss buying so many quality players and prob having one of the biggest squads in the world

im very worried for reading, sheff utd and leeds (hopefully) hehe. because there not going to be able to compete with that, at all.

well it is, if Glaziers went under then so will Utd (although someone would come in and rescue them but it wouldnt be good for the team). The money is borrowed against the team and the club just like any other business is although this is for 100's of millions!

RVN is going yes... however Saha's goal to game ratio after new year is better than anything you got? How many goals did you score this season ?? how many for Crouch?

RVN - 21
WR - 16
LS - 12

i have no problem with Saha and Rooney up front next season... plus Rossi looks amazing.... Ole back from Injury and Smithy could do the job if needed when he's back in September

sorry but im not feeling your vibe

Cisse scored 19 and crouch got 13...thats only 3 behind Rooney and cost a hell of alot less!

Plus your forgetting how shite Saha was before his injury and probably what he'll end up being like next season!
