I'm spacing my calipers inwards...

Iwish I could take people in my car against a car with V6's for a race, they would soon see they are worth it! In this months redline I beat both Novas by a fair margin and I have drums on the back, they don't!

seriously, they poor. if you can do like 40-140 in a matter of seconds, whats the point in having brakes that take 35 seconds to stop the car?

if you can afford to put an let in they really you should be able to afford 400 quid extra for some proper brakes, or you are wasting your time withe let...........

in my opinion

35 seconds? wtf.. mr muppet did you fit you v6's properly? i remembr 1 morning giving my car a test on the open road 135ish MPH i was doing and some fool indicated into my lane(kinda wierd how quick things come up when you over 120 ) anyways i though i was brown bread on the v6's i went... went from 130 to 45 in about 5-6 seconds....

i have the v6 brakes i had on the corsa on my misus's tigra at the moment and for some reason.. maybe its the newer 16v master cylinder? but they feel about 5 times better than they ever did on my corsa with absouluty no spongy pedal at all... granted its a 1.4 but its still capable of 100MPH

I was a second faster on the 0-100, that is well worth £400! A second is a hell of a lot, andit will go down by even more when I sort the rears.

A lad I know in a Nova did a sub 9 minute lap of the 'Ring and didn;t get any fade either. With V6's I'd be lucky to get 5 minutes into a lap! If I could afford even better brakes (and physically fit any under my wheels) I would get them.

Any 4 pot kit will be fine, I have Reylands on mine under speedlines.

i have to agree, i had ebc discs and pads on my calibra turbo (284mm) and they were so not up to the job, the fades quickly and i eventually melted the discs, filling up the groves and holes making the discs practically smooth again!
