Sad reading that mav, i dont blame you for wanting to sell the car because of no airbags etc. I was the same after my crash; I didnt want to get in a less safe car with less safety features incase something happened again.

If that was your first crash, because you were a passenger you'll be on edge alot more sitting in the passenger seat. I was after my smash, and still am to an extent. Just realised whilst typing this my smash was exactly 2 years today. How time flies.

Wish you and the rest of the family a speedy recovery.

PS. Hope you managed to get the blood stains out of the burberry shirt ok

fuck sake arsehole drink drivers!!!!

dont feel guilty for not wearing a seat belt though mav it was an honest mistake and i have a sneaky feeling it may have just helped your son out by you taking the brunt of the impact.

Mav all i can say is thank god everyone is OK and that karen makes a full recovery

Ive had a punctured lung and i can vouch that it bloody hurts so she must be feeling it right now, but it does sort itself out in a couple of days so she should be alright on that front!

drink drivers are the scum of the earth

cheers guys.....

karen is away for xrays as she might have a broken brest bone too...yeah they said her lungs will sort themselves out just takes time...

kano - from kirkcaldy side through small roundabout and you go up the 1st hill then there is a short straight before jump was on that straight....He wasn't overtaking any cars as I have asked witnesses he just went across the road for no reason..If you pass you can see the skid marks and sand etc on the road..

never took much of inside as there is blood everywhere....

think the car has held up well as it's estimated he was doing about 70 and karen about 40-45....
