The illuminati do not always create influence events to impact world markets, a lot of their schemes are psychological. Think of the pyschological impact on not only the victims but also of the rest of the world from this event.

i believe it was a freak on nature that caused it, the real conspiracys started afterwards.

What he said. The waves were bigger underwater but they start from the ocean bed not from the water level, hence them not being able to see them. It's only when they reach shallow waters that they appear. The energy of the wave's speed is transferred to height and sheer force as it nears shore.

i aint read through all the posts just a few, herd somewhere that they do have detectors out at sea, but the didnt quite realise the power at first and didnt want to interupt the tourist industry.

The technology and the ability to get a decent warning out in the countries it hit, i'd imagine would have been pretty poor.
So even if there was a warning i doubt many people would have heard about it, it would have been word of mouth pretty much.
The videos i've seen they look like normal waves, maybe a bit bigger. The reason they killed and destroyed so much is what other people have said, the force of the water was awesome and the amount of water that was behind the wave was amazing.
It's times like this that i wish i studied geography. Gotta give respect to nature.

Actually it was hundreds of cubic kilometres of water that was displaced, so from the ocean bed to the surface, there would have been displaced water, its just that the indian ocean is fairy deep in parts that it is unrecognisable until it nears the coastline and runs out of depth.
All those thinking it is a conspiracy is bullshat, natural disasters happen all the time, this is the worst in living memory, the good nature of the human spirit is pulling together globally to help the people who need it most. No matter which way you look at it, no one will get an advantage from this disaster.
loss of Tourism will severely effect the area affected, but this has a rebound affect in all other western countries, as they will lose money too from lost revenue. Theres no conspiracy, it just happens.

Its a simple mathematical equation of figuring out the distance of the epicentre to the coastline, and the average speed of each tsunami, which was about 275kts.
