I went to Grammar School and I am qualified in a professional area. My job involves problem solving on a day to day basis and im also an accounts trainer for the software we offer so I definately know my job inside out. We've got a few people here that don't have a clue what they're doing and when you review their accounts preparation, you might as well throw it and start again. I am also in a mangement position so I have to help the juniors with their work, so all in all I can't be that bad at my job

and you should be proud of yourself. i took the plunge 3 yrs ago and did a massive career change to be a social worker and have worked my way up through pushing myself not just in my day to day work but doing extra courses at college to better myself
i also remember first seeing you at shows in maybe 96-97 and your car was although maintained to an excellent standard was nothing by comparison to what it is now, so that tells me that your knowledge out of work has improved to

I know what you mean. I did my accountancy course as well as working full time for three years and it was really tough but well worth the effort in the long run.
It definately wasn't 96-97 I wasn't even old enough to drive then But I know what you're talking about and thank you

I don't think you should base intelligence on your job! Their are plenty of people with lots of qualification and knowledge that are unemployed! And you carn't measure it by someone knowing how to take an engine apart and someone knowing the javascript on a web site! Everyone has their own subject!
It's based on common sence! but then again, everyone is intelligent in their own right!

I disagree. Intelligence is about applying common sense to whatever you put your mind to. Whether it be at work, at home, in your hobbies or in the classroom.
