Kwik fit only supply and fit. There is no way in hell they will take on a job like this let alone attempt to rebuild something such as a gearbox and what are the chances of them sticking an apprentice on a job like that. I hardly went into detail any detail, i made what? 2 posts to wynd people up, i could have let this run for longer.

He has been quoted around 800 from a place in falkirk to have it rebuilt which includes all the labour.

I'd steer clear of that place, I was going to go there first but got messed about.

Newmarket engineering in Stirling is the place to use. I got a full years unlimited mile warranty with mine.

Nothing. It's a Puma gearbox. Probably shit itself if it had an engine with some power on the end of it.

I'd fit some 21 speed Shimano instead.
