That bike vs Atom race was pure and utter garbage, the Atom around that track would tear the bike to pieces even with a retard behind the wheel.

And you know this as you drove your car around a race track in Germany

No because it's fucking obvious, you only have to go around that particular track in Germany to know bikes carry no where near the speeds car do around corners, and as for braking well fuck me you cannot brake anywhere near as late on bike else you will end up in the hedge.

A bike has 2 wheels, it does not have the stability under braking a car does, especially a road going track car like the Atom running R888.
The race was nonsense, why didn't they just do lap times of the bike and the car if they wanted to prove what was faster? BECAUSE IT WAS NONSENSE THATS WHY.

It's had it's day. It ought to be shut down.
Top Gear is the reason we have forums populated by morons who haven't got a fucking clue, their only knowledge is gained from Top Gear which is bullshit.

Top Gear was best when i couldn't drive and the cars were ones my dad had or had thought of getting.
now i drive, i just pick fault with everything, or can only lust over the cars as they are far too expensive.

have to agree with russ ( ) you coudl see that on the times the bike puleld in front, tiff didnt want to plough into him and had to wait for the large looping corners

agree with ollie that they should have raced car and bike separately for an accurate comparison,
also, what a pointless race with the skoda and ferrari and the roadworks on the track, absolutely pointless, and yes before yous ay it i know its meant to be entertaining but it was not to me and just a waste of time.
also the buggy drop at the end, i was genuinely and actually amazed it was not fixed so that the buggy landed just behind the porsche, amazing how when you do a mile race the buggy finished about 3 or 4 secs infront of the porsche and yet when they race across europe in a car against trains and ferrys etc they finish within seconds of eachother.
scripted piece of crap but i will still watch it next sunday

real world driving, to me it showed a very good point. Especially with the state of our roads
i quite often found that on some roads in the corrado, i would slow down for no other reason than i didn't want to damage or be harsh on the car. I can cover the last mile or two into work at 50-60mph in my escort, in the rado i'd be 20-30mph as the roads so bumpy.
its also why you get loons in transit vans driving up your arse, as they have nothing to lose
