Get something boring & practical, then you'll have plenty of money for the B as your play thing and other stuff.

I agree with this and Warren knows it.

Sticking with Vauxhalls just because he works for them is ok to a point but seeing as he is a mechanic by trade whatever he buys will be cheap to fix/work on. Its like saying hmmm I work on chevrolets shall I get a Laccetti?

If he is buying a modern car then he wont have many issues so buy what you want tbh.

Also i gurantee you will get bored of any Astra you buy...I know what you like. You can only put up with a car that drives "nice" for so long till you are seeing something else.

strange how you said a seat, when you have a seat

its gonna be a vauxhall.....so

its just a car to drive every day, but i want something half decent

im not after a 'drivers' car or anything, or well handling, i just want some thing with abit of luxuary ie cruise control air con, (even though i have these at the moment)

something more presentable than a corsa, and something i will sell easy in 6months time, for same, or not to much of a loss

if i didnt work at vauxhall, then yes it would be different, then it would be a german car! deffo not seat

something with germany engeering

i know exactly what does wrong with them, get free parts, replace most things that break for free, just makes soo much sense

for example if i blow up a turbo - which is quite likely, i will be able to replace it for nothing at all..
