@ mattk

a comedien made a good point about this, you dont get people standing in doorways in public "not letting you by" because your going faster than them, why do people get so uptight about someone going faster than them on the road?! Why should someone not be able to get past you? Such a selfish attitude, and sadly reflectant of society today.

If your on the motorway, you should be in the left hand lane unless overtaking. If someone comes up fast behind you, at the first safest instance, indicate and pull over let them past and then you can get back to driving in the wrong lane

I have no quams about flashing people (well, it comes with the car ) i wont flash if the middle lane is blocked, when theres an ample gap....... Get the fuck out my way, if you dont 1.flash 2.indicate 3. Wanker sign.

The amount of times ive been stuck doing 60mph on an Mway in the 3rd lane in a que of 10+ cars behind some brainless cunt whos holding up everybody in the wrong lane. The dickless peice of shit directly behind them is no better flash, signal wake them up etc.

I also may add when not in a hurry and preserving fuel doing 60 etc, i get the fuck out of everybodys way no hassle and dont make their lives difficult on purpose.

Overtaking as become less acceptable the more road saftey bullshit is rammed down out throats, in the past over taking was the norm because there were cars that literally took a weeke to get to 60mph

We are nannied on the roads because people are dying yet only (I use the term slightly morbidly and losely) 2,500 people die on british roads every year but I think thats pretty good, look at the USA, 45,000 people die every year! 18 times more than the UK but the population is only 5.5 times higher! Thats like nearly 9,000 people a year dying here..

There is no longer any common sense on the roads, just shit loads of signs, 'safer' speed limits and more cameras, the government needs to invest in educating safe road use! I'm sure everyone would agree the standards of driving in this country and crap on an epic scale! There are people who have only been driving a few years who seem to have completely forgotten how a round-a-bout work along with the basic principal of indication and road positioning.

The badly tuned diesel was ace in this situation, drop it into 5th so it was labouring and plooms of sblack smog would come out of the exhasut.

Seriously though it is just a cycle, someone wants to pass and you slow down, it just makes it worse. YOu never know if they are in a genuine rush.

As for people who don't keep left on motorways and duel carriage way etcs, its shocking, as said selfish attitude to driving.

I once remember someone tailgating my dad on the motorway, my dad usually does the average 80-90 on the motorway, and some twat came flying up behind us in a 3 series convertible, flashing his lights etc, but he also had the roof down, which my dad had spotted, and my dad decided to wash his windscreen, it wasnt dirty, but sent shit loads of water over onto the BMW driver he soon backed off.

If your dad was in lane 3 he should have pulled over to let the guy pass.

I always move over even if I'm going above the speed limit in the outside lane. If someone is on a mission then let them be on their way. I have to move over for very few, although the RS4 the other month was quite a watch

Braking is the most dangerous and stupid thing you could do

If somone ever did that to me and it caused me to crash into i'd fuking kill them before the police arrived.

I only just remembered about a twat in a astra a few months back. There were about 4 of us coming up the M1 on the way back from Santa Pod, we were making good progress, and this astra comes up behind the guy at the back of our little convoy, proper tailgating him (less than 1m away at over 70mph), so we all decided to have a little play with him!!

It ended up in the 4 of us boxing him in (police move stylee), and slowing down to about 50!! he backed off after that!

So you chased a guy fast enough to know he was doing 100+ then reported him for dangerous driving

typical response from someone who knows nothing about cars

maybe ford were rot boxes 20 years ago just like vauxhalls, but manufacturers have come a long way now and funnily enough, new cars don't rot

maybe you should educate yourself instead of talking shit?
