they will all be ace track cars but as said can you really be doing with running costs of two cars.
Just get one that does everything ie yours
Whats the main reason of wanting the change?
Seems a waste of the clio if its only going to stay on the road
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

Guys im not asking whether I should buy another car, im asking what car you would get for 1k. Whether I should buy another car isnt the topic of discussion.

They are soooo easy to make trackable.
Whack some cheap shocks and springs, Cavalier/Astra 15's, strip it and your sorted.

How about take your own advice and give it a rest once in a while, you have just reacted to his statement in the exact same way as he did to you, can you not see that or you too busy reading your own shite?

on topic i'd go for an old phase 1 306 gti as they are lighter than the later ones. Body parts will be cheap as chips, will be pretty fun around a track to start off, handle decent, wont be dog slow.

I dunno, a nova against a 205, I can imagine 205s handling better definately. Mattbs 106 looks very good for the money though, depending what it comes with. Sorry wasnt a dig about tracking my clio, just I only wanted ideas for a car, my brothers overlooking the thread too.

My pug when sold comes with all the spares and bits i have for it
includes:
Set of the optional wheels with standard tyres
Set of standard GTI wheels with yoko A048's
4-2-1 manifold
grp A cams
grp A ecu (not sure if it works properly but it wont allow my standard engine to idle - just cuts out)
Perspex rear windows and a passenger one
ported and polished head (bare)
polished cam covers
spare front calipers
theres probably a few more bits along with the stuff fitted to the car, plus the car itself
