Oh my god...Im seriously nursing a semi now. Oli, if you buy them, i will be your personal slave for as long as you live. As long as you let me stroke the spokes at least once a day.

The original Nurburgring wheels really do look rubbish. In my opinion obviously.

Although they came with the car (but they do not suit), there are many other different styles that will suit the car so much better.
Team dynamic Pro Race 1.2's do look good on almost any car, but if you have a car as specific as the 'ring Astra, you have to put the time and the effort in to finding the perfect wheel to compliment the design.

Obviously the car is designed and developed with a motorsport theme in mind; therefore if you want to find an aftermarket wheel to suit the car, there are a few points you should bear in mind:
i) The wheels should be just as light (if not lighter) than the originals so the handling isn't compromised.
ii) The rolling radius and width of the wheel should remain the same (ideally, but its not a problem if they change) so the friction does not affect the performance figures.

The Astra’s shape is aggressive, but not majorly ostentatious (unlike the Focus RS) so it should have wheels that look simple and purposeful.

The Revolution wheels as seen below look great in the darker colour, but the problem is (as pointed out by Ojc), dark wheels look smaller than light coloured wheels.
Although, because they ar 18s, i'm sure they won't look too small when they are viewed in reality.

I think you should be adventurous and try something different (i.e. Gold 5 spokes or the white rims with the black/grey spokes just like my photoshops). I’ve come up with many different ideas in my life, and many of them have been tried out in real life and succeeded. I think either of those styles would work brilliantly.

All I ask is that you be more imaginative than Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2s.
If however you want to be a sheep and follow the cowd, I suggest you go for OZ Superlegerras.

although I am with stavs the current wheels in black or anthra would be cool.

Keeps it oem and matches the graphics

Plus not a big expense as you already have the wheels and could go for the others later on
