Get the RS

The sad thing is you noticed. You really need to look into getting a life instead of driving round trying to find petrol 1p a litre cheaper and watching everyone else putting fuel in their car.
Do I own an M3? No.
Did I do the above? No.
Then kindly GTF.

However, its on finance and no matter how much people say they hold their value etc it wont be worth £25k when you sell it.
The interior is nasty, it looks a little boy racer and in your face.
The m3, is slightly older buy a decent one and it shouldnt need much other than a few minor things. If you purchase one thats just had an inspection 2 then the running costs are bugger all IMO. Will be no better/worse on fuel.
However if something breaks you wont have a nice warrenty to fall back on.
And to come to a conclusion.......
Wrong wheel drive??
No matter how much the motoring press praise it (its a ford afterall and they ALWAYS praise them no matter how shonky) It wont have the "feel" a rear wheel drive car will.
People wont think your a pratt if you pull up in an M3, a lime green go faster focus however.....
My thoughts too.
Doesn't matter how capable the focus is, you won't be able to get the benefits of that day to day driving. Yeah you might have the occasion blast but then you probably wont as you will have paid alot and its a big risk.
I'd pick the M3 without a shadow of a doubt, the depriciation will be a lot less as its done most of it already, and you won't be definately paying 300 odd quid out a month. out, and you won't look like a plonker in a lime green car.

I didn't say you owned an M3, was just commenting on the fact that you watched someone drive in, watched how much fuel he put in and watched him drive off 'slowly' Just because he has an M3, doesn't mean he has to drive around everywhere at full speed. Maybe he only had £10 in his pocket and no cards to pay with
And yes, I have definatly seen you say you need to find fuel at under £1 a litre or something equally sad and pathetic.

Colin, i hate BMW's of all shapes and sizes and i love the Focus RS. However common sense says Buy an M3 convertible, put 400 a month away and in 3 years get a 911 Turbo.

M3 all day long mate, would never buy a ford nevermind a lime green WRC wannabe one.
if you buy one, make sure its this colour, and i'll buy it off you in a year and a half and you can get the tonka toy focus then.
