I get slagged all the time for having a corsa, but I will just wait till I can afford something better. Never had any problems with it either

deeply uncool when you have bucket seats and you have to "teach" people on how to strap yourself in
But on that note was the Corsa B ever classed as cool ? like when it first came out

TBH the only cool cars are really something like a caterham or possibly an elise 'maybe' they might be getting for the younger crew now. generally some kind of kit car really.

it's taken the nova gsi 15-16 years to even begin to shake off the naff image.
i guess on that basis, i've got a 5-6 year wait for my corsa b.  
but that's if it even bothered me, i don't think i understand the whole car = status symbol thing.
company cars/cars on finance - every badger has a 'new' car these days

i've never been slated either; i guess forums (or the internet) are a breeding ground for this type of thing though, in a 'look what i've got' type of way.
i'm not jealous of what anyone else has, a good friend of mine has just bought a focus st, sure it's nice, but the finance bit makes his situation uncool too.

I use to get grief all the time at work....because when i told people i drive a modified Corsa they automatically think lairy exhausts and big body kits etc... but when they actually saw it (or more importantly had a passenger ride) they soon realised I wasnt a chav lol
I now have a slammed Astra Coupe Turbo though so I'm back in the cool book lol - everybody seems to love that car!

He hates my car 
I constantly get ripped for having next to no interior, I just joke along with em. End of the day, I know it's slow, I'm trying to address that point, I know it's loud but the only thing I find annoying about that is the lack of performance compared to the sound.
I still love it tho, and I expect I'll love it even more when I can finally get an XE in it. I don't feel embarrased about owning a Corsa, it's a good car, it's only ever let me down due to a flat battery and a shit exhaust that didn't fit proper and come apart the following day leaving me with just the cat for silencing whilst driving around doing deliveries It's comfy enough, especially with my Imola's, it gets me about and despite the lack of performance I can still enjoy a good back road

tbf, it's very rare anyone wants a lift
I gave my dad a lift a couple of months back and Shaun (T8SSJ) jumped in with me once although he was slightly cramped. The seats still aren't adjustable
It was after Shaun had been in that he had a big kick off about having to adjust his harness again, at the time we both used it a few times a day tho so it really was 'his' seat. It still is really cos no-one else wants it

my mates love my corsa .... (big bodykits etc etc ) style has changed gsi,euro corsa's are the style now
corsa's are just some funny dont like them dont come on the site lol

Like Jambo says, whatever car you own, people will always pick fault with it. I currently own a grandad car, my last car (Fiesta) was chavvy, the one before that was 'dull' (mk4 Golf) and the one before tha was 'an old banger' (mk1 Golf), you actually can't win, even though there's no actual game
My car has cupholders, I can go round roundabouts sideways without spilling my hot chocolate (yes, I had my pipe and slippers too), chugging out black smoke at the same time.
I'd still have another Corsa though, and won't care what people think then either
People care too much about what other people think IMO, drive what you want, whatever it is, even if people think you're a hairdresser or a chav.
