There is no way you could drive all that way and not go around, that would be like having sex with a beautiful woman and not spuffing your load.

I know for i fact i wouldnt drive my car around the ring, too much to lose. But as i said earlier i would go for the drive, support & maybe go around as a passenger.

Well no point visiting if you fear for you life tbh. Roads are just as dangerous driving through Brussells

In your argument you mention the danger and risks yet you are willing to put your life in the hands of someone else by taking a ride?

Driving in France is more dangerous than driving on the Ring.

I wouldn't make the journey a chore though, it'd be part of the whole holiday, trip etc.

But seriously, my car on the Ring? You say people taking it easy doing 60mphis dangerous, that is all I can do flat out, probably slower because of the boat-suspension.

I agree Deano, part of the holiday is driving there, I throughly enjoy it. The roads in Europe are better than ours, you don't ever stop for traffic and in our time there we never saw 1 Police car and only 1 speed camera. It's a delight.

Hire a car out when you get there Deano, I take it your 21? I'm sure Jr is the same age as you.

I have driven to the Alps before on the private motorways in France. It's rather relaxing

Thats why i said maybe go around as a passenger. Theres every point going. Just to say i've been there. I'm not a race driver or claim ( not a dig at anyone ) to be thats why i wont go around the ring. End of the day i'll be going for the trip. No harm in that.

only worth it if you have sabine, all the other drivers are quick, but sabine seems to drift the whole way round, the other 5 or 6 dont, looks far more fun

Andy Priaulx took me out. Neck was still hurting from the G-forces two days later.

And I joined at Adenau too for a lap and a half, good to have a half lap to warm things up, make sure it's all running nicely and then you can avoid the delays at the main entrance by just going on to do the full lap.
