Im going on MY assumptions, just like you, and everyone else in this post.
The fact is, NO-ONE knows, we've all just seen the same image.
Im going on personnal experiences working with people with down syndrome and other related illnesses. This doesn't make me an expert or anything, but from experience, something needs to spark the negative reaction. Think like a child, how would a 2 year old react if you took a toy away. Anger, screaming etc... But if he's left alone to play, will they get angry?
Something needs to spark the reaction. What this spark was, as you've said, we don't know.
But what I do know is there is no need to react in such a forcefull manner. AS said, the bloke never even checked his child before throwing a KO punch which obviously really effected the bloke on the floor.

So, without knowing exactly what happened you are saying the guy with downs can't get the blame for it.
But with exactly the same information the dad was too harsh.
So one rule for one and another rule for the other

dont agree with that tbh, the little kid was bearly touched, fair enough he shouldnt have done it but a good push would have solved the problem.
then again im in the small minority of people who would actually stop and take the 2 seconds it would take to assess the situation and relize punching someone as hard as i could may have severe repricusions, he didnt deserve to be punched like that.
i meen surely you would think if he was really trying to hurt my child and he was not handicaped he could of rather than giving a little kick that slightly connected.

I don't care what anyone says, if someone kicks your kid square in the cock the last thing you're going to do is stand there and evaluate the person weighing up in your mind wether you should knock him out, its a reaction that you just punch the person, then realise after that it may have been wrong because he has a disability.

At the end of the day there is no volume to show what the kid did/ didnt say and what the downs guy did or didnt say. If it was a case of the kid being a kid and the downs guy was on the phone and got annoyed then he is bang out of order for even contemplating kicking the kid no matter how hard or gentle it was and the dad was a bit ott on punching him but you cant say what you would or wouldnt do if you were in that situation until it actually happened to you.
Everyone has a vague understanding of morally right or wrong and thats not an excuse anyone can make for either of those guys in the video. And as for some of the guys on here you need to put your toys back in your prams and think before typing sometimes.
