172 cups have stuff missing to make it lighter.

182's have no spare wheel or well.

I forgot about the wheel well etc with the twin exhaust, good point.

I would like a phase 2 full fat for the nicer interior and toys I guess. Shame the phase 1 dash is especially nasty lol

TBH i get 220 miles to a tank of V power which is £46.Not bad considering.Doubt you'd get much better from an M3 or other (real) performance car.

scoobs are good on fuel. look smart. and ur thinking about a clio. wrong move

No they're not and no they don't, and everybody has an old scrapper scoob these days.

And you own a Saab??? FPMSL

Nothing actually.
I really like the 9-3's and 9-5's

Great cars - GM underneath as well, so parts are not to bad if you know where to look.

Saab is a really good call, because they are not as "common as muck"

*Disclaimer, Yes i know i drive a Golf.

From a VAG point - a 200bhp mapped Golf isnt slow, its weighty, but not slow, from this point of view its a brilliant all rounder.
With the amount of tuning options available the 1.8T, sky is the limit with them if you have the cash.

Remember VW's hold their values far higher than a Clio which will sink like a stone.

However is about what you want at this particular time.

I'd have my saab over your scoob

I wanted one so I went out and bought one.

I could have got a shit old scoob instead.

I wasn't even slating scoobs, just saying that they aren't that good on fuel.

I didn't say mine was new, it's not an old wreck like the majority of scoobs though.

If I wanted either a new saab or a new scoob i'd go out and get one, I don't though, I specifically wanted that shape of 9-3 if I got one.

Doesn't change the fact the scoob isn't that good on fuel does it?

Just noticed you called me an arsehole

Because you've got a shit old scoob i'm an arsehole

Starting to notice a trend with Subura owner's, nothing and i mean NOTHING is better than them.

John's right.....you can buy a scooby for nothing these day's and they're heaps of shit.

They're also generally now driven by wee arseholes that think they're rally drivers.

You'll find that Impreza owners are more defensive than oppresive Hammer.

And you might be able to buy them for buttons but you won't be able to run/insure one.

I can insure one for buttons, not run it.

Clio is probably the best bet so far though, quite good on the fuel as well.

and on the running costs and insurance side he was 19 when he insured it for £2800 in his dads name and it used to cost him £20 a day in fuel to do about 60 miles
