Fill it up to the brim then run it down till it has 5 miles left on the range. Lasts me a couple of weeks.

Find it annoying if I was stopping and putting £10 in here and there. May aswell just do it all in one go and be done with it.

always brim it; £62 a week at the moment!

My missus puts £10 in a time and has to go every couple of days; I don't see the point, I'd rather fill up once, I'm going to use it anyway and then I don't have to keep going back

Its strange.

I fill up, i end up with 1/4 tank left at the end of the week.

If i put £40 in, i use it.
If i put £30 in, i tend to make it last.

I put £30 p/w in and make it last the whole week - do around £250 miles p/w.

Only run the car on super - i do find that the extra cost compensates the mileage extra that I achieve.

but with a full tank i drive it harder as i have the petrol there rather than save it

Always fill up and let it get quite low and fill back to the top. A tenner doesn't last too long....
