a quick question for you, what do you do about insurance on the continent? do you pay for afew days or did your own insurance cover it? any age restrictions etc?

Am I right in thinking the ring is just a toll road so if your insured to drive abroad you dont need any extra insurance for the ring?

99% of insurance companies exclude the ring, either in name, or as a one way toll road

So do most people use the ring uninsured and if they crash they just fork out for the damage to their car?

Just googled this and it appears alot of UK people just chance it.
