Am in the exact same boat as KZ, I ended up on a night out meeting my gf when i was out to get my end wet. But when she said no i was eager. Anyhow one thing led to another and now 6 months down the line am still with her, i like her but dont love her. Id be gutted for a week or so but dont think i love her. Thing is she has a kid and is in love with me i think 
I said at weekend am getting a place with my mate and she wants me to move in with her, which i dont want. I know its bad but i dont want to be tied down with a lass with a kid.
But i dont want to split up?

Been there with a girl last year had to to be swiftly told it was over it was all getting too much. Although was only seeing her about 3 months she got too attached and was moaning for me to be there all the time

I just got back from Prague and my gf told me she loved me for the first time when we were out there, its been 3 months since we been going out, she wanted to take her time before making us official partners and she wanted to make sure she actually fell in love with me.
She asked me to be her boyfriend officially a week before prague, and told me she loved me in prague on the first night. For that I respect her as she knew she wanted to make sure it was all ok and she was ok with it, so i know that its real. I fell in love with her ages ago, but my head was in a different place as i knew what i wanted and she was it, i waited for her to be sure as i know she is worth it. All worked out amazingly!

whats the difference between you being her boyfriend, and before she said it?
i dont get it really, i find you usually drift into a relationship, you dont just suddenly decide, oh hes my boyfriend.
maybe its just me lol, but nothings ever really said about being someones boyfriend when iv been out with people, you just kinda know, maybe iv never been anyones boyfriend

I'd rather declare that someones my partner, as basically people may start to suspect that your just shagging each other like rabbbbits.
People may ask a 'girlfriend' of yours, and confront her - She may be highly disgraced at the fact you go around thinking that your her girlfriend, when she doesnt think the same

Steve we were literally boyfriend and girlfriend, but she didn't want to rush into anything as she wanted to be sure it was right. We were in my eyes a couple for the 3 months, as we saw each other everyday practically and deep down she probablly thought we were too but if anyone asked i was the guy she was seeing, which didn't bother me one bit. She said when we first starting seeing me that she didn't know what she wanted so wanted to take it slow whilst she decided. She didn't lead me on etc at all, i knew what i was doin and how she felt, i was patient as i knew i wanted to be with her, and it all worked out perfectly in the end

My mate and his mates had a rule,
3YEARS (yes 3 years not months) is the decider time, If they last till then , then the lads must either get rid or ask to marry..
He's ditched a few wemon ths way...

I know what you mean Adz it's different with every girl. Some we have just acknowledged it after a while some i've asked the question and vice versa. It's nice to know where you stand though
I have a 'Girlfriend' we were talking about it after a few beers one night and that was that only been seeing her for about 6 weeks or something feels longer
