Thats a good point, always had that in the back of my mind. Suppose you just really need to drive one to realise how outstanding a car they are.

It's not really an Escort though.
They're not what I'd call "outstanding" in standard form either

You wouldnt lose out though, if you pick the right one you could safely keep it a year of 2 & get back what you paid for it!!
I wouldnt mind owning one for a bit, have to say im more worried about reliability than forking out to buy in the 1st place!!

I know m8 always wanted an escort but i ended up taking the scooby route at the time! Nothing is really "outstanding" in standard form unless we are talking supercars

Mates got one of them, spent 1000's on it, it is gorgeous though, 350+ power-wise, but looks mint too. He's just gone 21.

Well yeah Im with you there. Id need to purchase a bigger house with a drive & garage before I could consider taking on a car like that. Dont think it would sit there long if left on the road

MK1/MK2 escort of some variety, looking for an RS2000/Mexico or something. Will be a while untill I find the right one, going to be a long term project.
