Yeah, probably.. but it's the thought that counts, how much of a backlash there is right now about Leon. Poor lad, he didn't deserve to win but doesn't deserve this either.

I think if the whole of Scotland voted for Leon, It would have made no difference if the whole of England and Wales voted for Rhydian. He clearly didnt win on Scottish votes alone

shep if same difference had won, yes there would be no thread, I was not a fan of them and did not rate them although admired their enthusiam and hard work. Again nothing to do with England, Its a competion to find an individual with the X factor not a contest between countries.
I say vote for rhydian because i believe him to be far more talented then any other contestant, certainly more so then leon.

I didnt see parkinson, but If you had watched xfactor then you would have clearly seen Rhydian is considerably better performer, singer all round professional then Leon, to me thats the "X factor". FACT
There was never a big drive from the english people to support same difference, it was never about that. Their popularity was due to the fact kids loved them.
You argument has completely gone of on a tangent and i struggled to comprehend why. Now you have stated you did not watch Xfactor and you were pulling from points in this thread. In a nutshell you dont really know what you are talking about to be completely fair.
If rhydian was english I still think Leon would have won due to the overwhelming support from scotland looking after one of their 'own'.

It was between Leon and Rhydian, same difference were never going to win that competition wether they were english, scottish or bloody afghan.

When it came to the last 3, both Same Difference and Rhydion had been having professional training for years, Leon had none. He came in raw from the street, so I'm glad he won for that fact alone  Nothing to do with the fact that he's Scottish and only lives 2 miles from me hahaha!!!

Nice to see a trivial trash tv show stirring up so much anger
If you let the public pick rather than a panel of singing judges your not always going to get the best singer winning the singing competition, it's the nature of the show. How folk can watch it and listen to sob story after sob story i'll never know especially as it's on when you should be sitting in a pub.

Scottish people are mainly bitter and nasty towards english due to hundreds of years of us being horrible to you as depcited in braveheart 
In all seriousness scotland is still bitter about being made to join the union (united kingdom) after several attempts to colonise failed and they got themselves into loads of financial woes
They sent a ship to panama to try and take over the major shipping routes or something and sent them (to the jungle) with loads of warm clothes and no mosquito spray
We bailed them out and they had to join the union with a country they hated.

shep, yes he does have a degree of talent but he constantly waivered through out and some of his arrangements were pretty bad put this alongside the inhuman consitency and brilliance of rhydian it puts things in perspective.
The scotland thing aside, end of day hes a cute pretty boy and that always helps.
His sob story was "his mum brought him up alone" awww didums, so did millions of other mums in the country/world ffs.
