About 15years. His liver is now fucked, doesnt have any biceps left, and fed up of every little prick around here wanted to fight him on nights out. But like it tells me, and everybody else, He did it for himself. Not for anybody else to look at. He never wears tight tops and isnt bigheaded, at all.

Its just one of those things where if you stop its all over all down hill from there.
Bodybuilding is the fastest way to get big but not always strong or have greats amounts of stamina.
I wouldnt expect many body builders to be any good at pull ups or press ups.
Rather be strong with stamina and have less muscle mass personally.

If you stop anything, to a certain extent its all down hill from there.
If you're a powerlifter and stop lifting, you naturally get weaker.
If you're a footballer and stop playing football, you lose your game, fitness, etc.
I don't get your point.

Don't see the point in getting to that point unless you want to earn money and go to competitions etc
Most girls DONT like men that big
I imagine they spend 90% of their life in the gym...
Who pays for the bills and the £200 shopping bills?

In fairness s213_UPP 99% of people cant, and never will get to that point. Including myself. That's why they're professionals, genetic freaks.
I imagine they spend very little time in the gym compared to 90%. The gym is the easy part, and most pro's train twice a day, probably a couple of hours in total max. It's the other 22 hours of the day that are important for them... resting, and eating every 2-3 hours.

must have all been filmed within a week or so of a comp. As they are all ripped up, you never usually run that low on body fat for long

I disagree mate, I've noticed ever since I have got bigger (I'm not massive by any means) that most girls around my age (18-20) prefer a small "defined" lad with just a 6 pac

Craig, what size and weight are you and how long have you been training? if u dont mind me asking. you seem to know your shit about body building.
I used to go to the gym about 4 times a week for a while and I could see the improvements but i didnt renew my membership when it ran out about 4 months ago and havent been since and have lost a bit of size and a fair bit of strength.
I'm goni start going again because i used to love going to the gym straight after work but I didnt really enjoy training on my own

Two of my mates are HUGE and both of them have absolutley stunning GF's and are always getting offers! I have to disagree there - there is a select type of girl who adores big men - i have seen it first hand! I try and avoid gouing out with them two as i look puney and dont even get a loojk in! lol

i think its more that knowing you have a good physique (sp) and have worked hard to get it gives you more confidence (sp)
not many females go for the 'massive unit' style bloke.

I agree, alot of girls do not like the bodybuilding type but then again many do.
TBH, if your main motivation for going to the gym is to get fanny, you're in it for the wrong reasons. It should be for purely personal reasons to achieve a certain target IMO.
If you're a good looking lad you're going to get offers regardless of whether you're 10 stone or 20 stone.

TheCam, ive been training for quite a few years now but never realised the importance of nutrition so used to train with a crap diet and never got that far. Even with 100% effort in the gym.
I like to think i know quite about about the nutrition side of things and ive had a solid diet for quite a while now. I'm 24 at present and didnt get everything in order (diet etc) until 21-22, so a good couple of years of 'proper' training if you like.
My weight varies because i can manipulate my bodyweight very easily, im 5ft 11'ish and at my heaviest ive been around 20st if i remember correctly. I dieted down to around 15.5st so lost around 4.5st in around 3-4 months.
I dont generally like the idea of bulking/cutting/bulking/cutting so i eat BIG and clean all year round now. My present weight is around 17.5st, it was a little higher but i had food poisoning so lost a bit of weight.
I never measure body fat, i prefer to go by the mirror. I'm happy with my levels, i have plenty of visible veins running through my delts/biceps and across my chest so it's not that high.

Jesus christ!
I'm about 5ft 10" and about 12 1/2 stone lol
this may sound gay (its not lol) but got any pics of when you were that size?
also the diet thing... I hardly like any healthy foods at all love tuna tho.
dont like fish, chicken, vegetables so its kinda hard for me to get a decent diet, tbh I wasnt aware it made that much of a difference.
If you could help on the diet side of things I'd appreciate it. If I could find some food that I liked that would go well with my training I'd be well chuffed as I want to cut out as much of the junk food as I can but I really have no reason to stop eating junk food jus now lol.

You got MSN?
The diet is the most important part mate. Ive said it many times before, but the hour in the gym is the easy part - it's the other 23 hours in the day that determine your gains. In the gym you're just tearing your muscle fibres down, eating every 2-3 hours is what's repairing them and making them grow.

I will agree i don't like a woman with muscles, just looks wrong, but i fully appreciate the effort they put in and their goals.
I prefer the fitness class, you get some stunning women.
