I thought there was an original that was done, that was kinda the same, just rounded wings rather than straight, and then he changed it

From what Ive heard in interviews with Lios who did it, the design was totally his. I wouldnt be surprised if something similar may have been done - although cant be very as sure with the popularity of this design he'd have some legal problems, but certainly wasnt put into the spot light until Beckham had this version done.

Yeah I agree with Cos, Becks made the tattoo a lot more popular than it would have been if he hadn't had it.

Mind you, I didn't get it because he had it, I just like the design.

Which is 100% the reason to get a tattoo. Shouldnt give a fuck if its common, chavvy or anything, aslong as you like it and can live with it on your body for the rest of (or atleast a long time of) your life, is all that matters.

it was done free hand plus i have one shoulder bigger than the other so it was hard to make it symmetrical plus its a one off and no one else will ever have it i only went in to get something small on my neck and came out with that its still got more to be done it will eventually come all the way down my back gradually getting smaller and smaller till its at a point at the bottom of my spine
