I know Alex, just saw ur thread. Awful - but what parents would let children of that age play near a motorway.
More to the point, how did they get on it?
Every motorway round here had high fences etc. round it.

It's the M56, bit of a strange one to be honest, where it was coned off, theres just a metal barrier there, and about a mile after that is a town.
Bet the town everybody got diverted through were a bit confused why so much traffic was passing through though .
When going through the town, you could see the M56, and the amount of police / ambulance's etc. But there was 4 lorries stopped right next to them?
Imagine if you were driving a lorry and two kids were running across, and you couldn't stop in time

if its a rural area motorway then I assume the security boundaries wouldn't be as good

Ooo right
What I said in the other thread mate, imagine being a driver that knocked one of the kids down. Your doing 70 and there isnt enough time to stop, but still you knocked down and killed someone, how would you feel?

Tom, tbf, if you were to hit someone at 50 its game over for them. Remember that 40 in a 30 advert with that hittle girl getting hit?

Although its a terrible thing to happen, my thoughts go out to the drivers of the cars.
The guy that pretty much ran over my Grandad (he died as a result) topped himself because he couldnt take the guilt.
