Don't talk poop.

Great cars, good performance, and great results from turbocharging.

I like the little Starletts, good performance, good tuning scope. Unsure on handling, never really heard anyone say anything about the handling on them, so that can't be good. But then we own corsas, so who are we to judge....

This thread is comical to read.

I read the whole post cheers. I know you was referring to Type R's. My first 2 lines were in reply to you. They are good cars, just have a bad image drivers, same way corsas have the bad "chav/boyracer" image. They arn't THAT bad a little car, you own one still, as do I, and thousands more. Not all the drivers are neddy boyracers. Same goes with ALL marques of car. You just have a personnal vendetta against them

The rest is regarding the Starlet and this thread.

out of most of the hondas ive driven, i find them to be the least thrilling though and a proper lack lustre experience behind the wheel. maybe i demand too much from what manufacturers claim is a performance car these days i dont know, but a type-r civic does nothing better than pretty much all the other cars in its class and id pick it last over almost anything. thats not a vendetta, i just think theyre very over rated. theyre so far off an integra or even an accord type-r

Really, your probably the first person ever not to be impressed by a Type R on track.....

Local 1 way system does not constitute as a track either

Engines are so bad, thats why Ariel use them in the Atom's. They are great engines, and have a superb reliability rate.

Its well documented on here your feelings with type R owners, you've even created posts about how you hate them.

You have a vendetta thats all

The VXR is miles quicker, but the Type R chassis is better... And much older. Integras even more so. This is prooved also on the race track (BTCC).

was on a real track for quite a few laps aswell. ive driven both cars on the roads shit loads. the integra is a great car, the civic is a let down in the terms of a type-r or what theyre supposed to be. the 182 i drove got quicker lap times by just over 5 seconds. its no vendetta, i just prefer many other cars

Clio 182 is a great handling little car, but not the same class. Compare the Clio to your corsa. Civic is a comparison with an Astra.

I understand what your saying about a Civic type R, it should feel quicker, but I think thats becuase most hot hatches are forced induction these days leaving the poor civic trailing..

New one is the worst of the bunch tbh. Sems Honda are making R stand for Relaxation, not Racing anymore.

Have to see how this RR goes IF it comes to the UK (220bhp odd). NA power still rocks

i wouldnt mind either. im only 19. although i think i mite rather have a corsa with a LET in. already starting to tb a x16xe but i still find it pretty slow. they are the dbilas ones tho so that explains alot of slowness.
