Morning all.

Got back from France yesterday. Had an awesome bike, and treated myself to a new bike, so it was quite an expensive holiday Haven't just got up mind. Was up at 7am to see dad break down on the A1 in the M3.

Just before we went to France the alternator light kept flicking then dad managed to get home. Booked it in to BMW for today. It started fine after a week of the alarm draining the battery and the alternatorplaying up before.

He got to Stevenage north A1 (M) junction all the way from Biggleswade with the alternator light on then it just died So our guess and the recovery drivers guess is a dodgy alternator.

But it has only just had a new battery, and my guess is BMW did something wrong when it was replaced, as they had to try and find the drain on the battery first.

Expensive cars = hassle.
