Just get yourself out and about mate. Get to some CS meets etc.
I sat in and moped around for about a month and it made no difference to the situation, then I started to go and to meets etc and meet new people. I probably met as many new friends in the last 4-6 weeks as I have in the last 4 years TBH.
Seems hard now but it will get better

I've been there and best thing to do is just try to move on. The way it ended prob means u'll never hear from or see her again so'll be easier to get over it. My ex is still lingering in the background but i'm totally over it now.
The way ur feeling just shows u cared! Keep yourself busy and shag around for a bit! Worked for me!

Best thing to do is cut her out completly.

matt - i just wanna leave it all behind me and move on. it wasnt meant to be, and i dont want her back after whats happened.
she hasnt even appologised for hurting me. all she's said is that she never loved me in the 1st place and that she just thought she did. she said i should just get over her and get on with my life. its a birt harder for me to do as she actually meant something to me.
i didnt see it land, i heard her scream and saw ewwww, but i was heading out the door as i did it... It looked like it was heading in the right direction... she did shout "phil come back" as i left. but i have no idea what i'd have done to her had i done that. i almost took the front door off its hinges when i left
It was an on the spot thing, but yeah... i'm glad i did it now.
It's the best insult, and it shows just how little i think of her now, and how she's just scum.
somehow it's just not enough. i wish i cud put her through what i am going through.

Cut ALL ties. delete phone numbers and e-mail addresses, stay away from her area, delete her on faceparty/myspace/whatever, Put ALL the stuff she bought you in a box or in a drawer...
My ex has blocked me on msn and i've blocked her and the chap shes with, I still have her phone numbers though... I'm not ready to delete them yet (sounds stupid, I know..). The night she dumped me she told me she'd put all my stuff under her bed and it devestated me at first, knowing that all I'll be from now on is a memory... But its the best thing to do, just do a bit at a time. then next thing I'll do is delete all contact but in my own time.

I know what you mean Pete, I still have my ex's phone number, msn etc.
Hardest thing for me was taking my engagement ring off and putting it in a box It now sits in a box on my bookcase with a bracelet she bought me and a few pics of her

The best thing you can do to really piss her off is just ignore her... Ignore any calls/texts/whatever, if you see her in the street just walk straight past her with your head held up high, ignoring someone really fucks them off...

I wish I could do that Sam. A mutual friend of me and my ex is having a 18th birthday meal in 2 weeks. I've been invited, so has my ex and her new man I can't sit in the same room as them yet, and I'm not gonna make a scene in front of other friends.
