Should be able to keep his composure then, seeing as he's ex-double world champion, you'd have thought it wouldn't phase him.
As for him spitting his dummy out last time, having a tantrum after the race because he didn't win... boo-fucking-hoo, drive better
If he was as good as he apparently is, the rookie wouldn't be beating him, in the car with the number 2 on the side and on a 20th of the wage.
He's just pissed off because he's not going to earn as much next year because the noob is better than him so far.

Well thats Alonso's fault isn't it?
And, may I add that Hamilton won at circuits he's never been to before.
Now wether or not he's been in the wrong frame of mind, its up to him to sort that out

Personally I think alot of it is to do with the car. I would like to swap Button with Hamilton to see what they would be like on differnt teams
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

I say fair play to him he is obviously exceptionally talented. I just get the feeling that he is going to be "managed" into becoming cocky. Having Pharrell Williams on the grid in his 7th race is a clear indication of this imo. If he sticks to his driving and doesn't get taken in by all the hype then he is in the hat to win the title for definate.

He seems to block out the hype as soon as he's in the car, doesn't seem nervous at all, which is good really, the amount of attention he's been getting would have totally ruined some people's composure.

About six races too late on the first comment....
As for Pharell? I've no idea what that was about

i agree with this, so many people are slating the rest of the drivers because their jumping on the "we love hamilton" bandwagon. People seem to be writing everyone else off because "their shit" - take Button, everyone with an ounce of intelligence can see it's his car thats stopping him getting into the top ten/five, no only is Barrichello down this year compared to last, but comparing last years finishings and qualifying grid postions in the RA-06 to this year in the RA-07 - it's in plain black and white that he and barrichello are struggling with this years car and NOT the fact that they have both become shit over the xmas period
And everyone seems to be moan about how Alonso is spitting his dummy out, yet they seem to brush over the fact that it's alright for hamilton to be a cocky shit and call the rest of the pack monkeys! Even Steve Ryder commented about it today saying how it was a bit out of order - sounds like he's getting too big for his boots already

Alonso is struggling as hes never had a total head to head in my opinion, 2005 he started the season in superb form best car in the first few races, Kimi Raikkonen came from a fair few points behind and would have won had his car not had so many freak accidents while leading, so we saw Alonso just pick up the pieces that Raikonnen left behind.
2006 was much of the same built up a big lead with the best car until Indy where Ferrari became the dominant car and Ferrari and Michael Schumacher reeled him in, Alonso was under a lot of pressure and we saw how he reacted, moaned and blamed the team, but when ferrari blew up while leading japan he was happy again and was not moaning about the car. The tyre wear also was in Michelins favor a lot through the year.
This year is different he is behind at an early point in the season and its his team mate in the same car with a 10 point lead, and who he considered his main rivals Kimmi Rakikonnen and Massa far behind in the standings, he probably didnt expect his rookie team mate to be ahead probably not even level. We havent yet seen what Alonso drives like when hes behind in the championship and this will be interesting as hes always had the championship lead and been able to just pick up points while his rival needs to win, so its going to be very interesting to see how he copes this year.

Marc, poor show, thought more of you.
Hamilton HAS to do all the adverts, he HAS to do all the press stuff, it will be written into his contract.
Vodaphone, Santander etc will have put a LOT of money into sponsership, and as part of that, he will have to do adverts.
Did anyone see that advert on TV recently with Rooney on. Oh my word, we saw it and burst out laughing. He made himself look a right dunce.
Rooney will do adverts for money, Hamilton will do them becuase he has to.
As for letting your old man do your press interview, well, he's only done 6 races. I remember being sick with nervers before a running race, or before a big rugby game, just people deal with nerves differently.
BUT
I do agree with you about the press coverage. Theres no focus on the other British drivers. Davidson is doign blinding so far, he got into I think 12th yesterday. He's been out-pacing Sato with 75 F1 race experience.
Also, McLaren have NEVER had a 1-2 driver policy. Always been fighting until the last. Take Senna and Prost. Same team, Prost knocked off Senna so he could win the championship. Same team.
I just think Alonso is just not putting the performances together, and being 10 points behined, its a big confidence knock. The rookie is beating him.
If it finished 1-2 Alonso Hamilton the next load of races, then it won't be till september till Alonso re-passes H in the championship. Awesome.
1st season in F1, top car, but you have to be able to tame it and drive it. 6 races and he's not been off the podium, he's not made a mistake yet. That takes a lot.
But from day 1 all i've wanted the press to do is leave him alone to do his job. He didn't get all this coverage during F3 and GP2............. Hmmmm
Also, if i'd be training for something my whole life, then I go there, then I started winning straight away, i'd be cocky.
As i said on another post a few weeks back, theres a fine line between arrogence and confidence. He's just very confident. If anyone has watched him growing up through F3-GP2, you would realise he is exactly the same as he's always been, its just you've not seen him until now in the press........
I love the way everyone clings on what newspapers etc say as gospel
