My dads classic car mag (got him a subscription for christmas and its bloody brilliant - we fight over it )
Says:
Scooby classic - in original condition
MX5
Focus RS - hence the reason im now getting a 3rd car to save the miles on the beast!
Elise
Honda s2000
Lotus Elan

I will try and dig the mag out and find what else they say

IMO all TVR's will be classics - especially the later ones because of recent issues.

The scooby needs to get past chav stage and into classic stage once all the chaved ones are no more!
Look at MGB's and midgets they were all common cars but they are classics.

vik - tue i suppose... but a long way to go i think... Same with my GTR... its in the back of classic car mags already, but it's not quite there yet... plus i've ripped the hell out of mine

K3 VMU - what... i dont think any of them will be classic (for a very very long time)... esp a UK CTR... way way too many of them in my opinion

yes.... still a lot less of them.... how many folk had cars then compared to now...

I think the current ration is 8 out of 10 people own a car just now in the UK

Yup see your point, but how many people drive elises/MGF's/ classic minis?
I think there will potentially more classic cars. But general rule of thumb, anything difficult to keep on the road, unreliable and rusty will be a classic My sisters fella has a Mk1 XRpoo and they have gone up sooo much in value since hes had it.
