wait... so this guy from day 1 has been helping the press and telling them loads of info but also been trying to find out how the police operation was going, if they had any suspects etc and then he tels the press hes been helping with witness statements and that he believes the girl isnt in the country anymore, THEN he tells the press the police arent looking for her in the area any more
oh and he wouldnt give any personal details and refused a more formal interview
wouldnt alarm bells have rung alot sooner, or is it just me
